This policy explains what Cassaro Beauty does with your personal information, and it is written to meet our obligations under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Cassaro Beauty sells skincare and beauty products online to customers in South Africa. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +27 69 063 4793 or by email at cassarobeauty.za@gmail.com. Those are also the addresses to use for any request described in this policy.
We only ask for what an order needs.
We do not ask for and never store card numbers, banking credentials or identity numbers. This website does not process payments at all.
Your basket, wishlist, saved delivery details and past order references are kept in your own browser's local storage, on your device. They are not sent to us until you place an order, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is shared only with the services that make the shop work: our hosting and database provider, the service that delivers our email, WhatsApp when you message us, and the courier who delivers your parcel. Each receives only what it needs for that purpose.
Order records are kept for five years, which is the period South African tax law requires. Enquiries are kept for two years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write to cassarobeauty.za@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
The site is served over HTTPS and order records are held in a database that is not readable by the public website. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affected your information we would tell you and the Information Regulator, as POPIA requires.
This shop is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
